Gone in 60 Seconds...
Well today I will be rebuilding our entire Operations Manager environment.. thanks to this little tick box...
(I should add that my screenshot is of the hotfix utility on a different server)
Someone has ticked the "In Future, do not show me this diaglog box"
What that actually should say is, congratulations I'm just about to uninstall your root management server without you confirming.. Have a nice day.
It's fair to say I'm not having a nice day, having just spent money with Microsoft PSS to tell me I need to do a reinstall of the whole environment.

System Center Operations Manager Installing with a DB on SQL2008 R2
I've wasted a whole day of trying to get the dbcreate tool to run on Windows 2008 R2 with SQL 2008 R2, all posts on the net seem to end without a solution, there are a number of KB articles, about copying DLL's etc, all end up with either a namespace error or just no errors in the log file at all..
I found one simple solution to this, dont use the install with SP1 present, just use the DBCreateWizard on the Non SP1 install and it runs fine! - or so far so good. This will probably bite me in the arse shortly, but for now I have a DB created which is a step in the right direction.
